What we publish

The newsroom publishes press releases. Each one is labelled "Press release", names the issuing organisation and states that it is distributed by NewzWyre. A press release is the issuer's own statement. It is not independent reporting by NewzWyre, and we do not present it as such.

Who can issue a release

Today the newsroom publishes releases from Chronic Internet LLC and its divisions. Other organisations can ask about publishing a release at press@newzwyre.com. Publishing a release as part of a paid NewzWyre plan does not change these standards: it is checked, approved and labelled in the same way.

How a release is checked

A release starts as a draft. Every paragraph of a draft must cite a source, and the source is checked when the draft is written: either a web page that contains the quoted words, or a record in our own systems. A draft whose sources do not check out is rejected automatically. Drafts may be prepared by an AI agent. An AI agent cannot approve or publish a release.

Approval

Nothing is published until a NewzWyre editor approves it. Once a release is approved its text is locked; to change it, it goes back to draft and must be approved again.

Dates

Each release shows the date and time it was published, in Hawaii time (HST). If a published release is changed, it also shows the date and time of the update.

Corrections and removal

To report an error in a release, or to ask for one to be removed, email press@newzwyre.com. A release that is taken down is removed from the newsroom, the RSS feed and our sitemaps.

Distribution

Releases are published on newzwyre.com and in our RSS feed. Wire syndication is coming soon; until it is live, we do not claim placement on any other site.
